Personal care items for the homeless

I have a crate that is over half full of deodorant, toothpaste, soap, feminine items and other personal care items that I am trying to fill up before I go drop it off. I need more coupon inserts donated so if you have extra please let me know. I end up only paying tax on all my donation items but I need lots of coupons to make it possible. Contact me iff you have any that you can donate.

Thanks everyone,
Jenn

Walmart FREE Cascade

I have lots of coupons for $1 off any size Cascade dish washer soap. If you go to walmart the trial size is $0.97 and there are 3 in it. Walmart allows overages so you are making $0.03 for every pack you get. Here in CA we have to pay sales tax so my extra money goes towards that sales take.

On the coupon it states 4 like coupons per transaction so you can so multiple transactions if your cashier doesn't mind. I find that the best cashiers to go to are the teenage boys. Here is what my trip looked like.

4 trial size Cascade $0.97 each
Subtotal $3.88
After coupon subtotal -$0.12
Tax 7.25% $0.28
Out of pocket total $0.16

Not bad for 12 loads of dishes

Sunkist 2L sale $0.88
3 -Charmin toliet paper $9.99 get $10 EB when you spend $25
I had only 1 $0.25 cpn

I used $15 in EB from last week and paid $22.15 and received $10EB for next weeks shopping trip.

We go through a lot of toilet paper so I was very excited for this deal.

I saved $38.80 this week.
This year I have saved $591.99 at CVS

My husband is back from the desert

Robert is finally back so now I a concentrate more on my couponing adventures. I am working on a beginner couponing class coming up in the next few weeks. I just need to know how many people would be interested in coming.

I also had to split up my stockpile. Under the stairs was not very organized anymore so now I only have food and drinks in there and my spare room has all the cleaning, hygiene, paper and other items in there. Now my stockpile looks so tiny and sad. That is ok - everything is now organized and I can look and see what I am running low on. Like the paper towels that I only had 1 left and went paper towel crazy today.
Today I took my husband to Walgreens and Rite Aid. Here is what we did

I could have also cut out 1 pack of the paper towels but I had only 1 single roll left in our stockpile so they were needed.
